Job Description

This role entails conceptualizing and developing high-quality analytics systems to address business problems using geospatial data analysis, machine learning, and statistical techniques.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions leveraging ESRI products. They will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced analytics systems that drive business value through data mining, statistics, and machine learning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with customers to identify their business challenges and develop tailored solutions
  • Designing and implementing high-quality analytics systems that solve complex business problems using machine learning and data science techniques
  • Developing and pitching data science solutions by mapping business challenges to machine learning or advanced analytics approaches
  • Building robust analytics systems that process big data and streaming data from various sources and types
  • Performing feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter optimization to yield high predictive accuracy and deploy models in production environments
  • Implementing best practices and patterns for geospatial machine learning and developing reusable technical components for demonstrations and rapid prototyping
  • Integrating ArcGIS with popular deep learning libraries such as PyTorch
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends in machine and deep learning and incorporating them into project delivery
  • Supporting estimation and feasibility efforts for various RFPs
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field with knowledge of RS & GIS
  • Proficiency in ESRI products like ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, etc.
  • Experience with image analysis and image processing techniques in SAR, Multispectral, and Hyperspectral imagery
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Expert-level Python coding skills
  • Ability to travel and work at client-side locations (India)
