Job Role Overview

  • This role involves designing and implementing SAP Central Finance solutions, integrating financial data from various systems and optimizing financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritizing and managing change requests with business, enhancements, and project initiatives in a cost-effective way.
  • Working independently on CFIN SAP FI Projects with respect to SAP ECC, CFIN, and FSCM is an essential part of this role.
  • Maintaining expertise in all finance processes, including period-end activities, is crucial for success in this position.
  • Configuring and customizing Central Finance submodules, including Accounts Payable, is also a key responsibility.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • The successful candidate must develop comprehensive functional specifications and knowledge of project life cycles.
  • Partnership with application leads and business leaders to deliver value to the business is essential.
  • Supporting partners to own projects and ensure successful project delivery is a critical aspect of this role.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance and process industry is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team is crucial for success in this role.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expert level understanding of all finance processes is highly desirable.
  • Working experience with Middleware like Agora, BODS is preferred.
  • Able to create comprehensive functional specifications is a valuable asset.

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • SAP FI-GL
  • SAP FI-AA
  • Good understanding of Interface technologies (Idoc etc)

Certifications:

  • SAP cFIN
  • S/4 HANA for Financial Accounting
