Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

We are dedicated to transforming the way people experience support, safety, and well-being by providing inclusive, accessible, and personalized resources. As a holistic and intersectional mobile app, we empower individuals to recognize, prevent, and overcome challenges like abuse, mental health struggles, and relationship issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist users with application cases related to abuse, mental health, and trauma on our platforms via voice or non-voice communication.
  2. Conduct user assessments to evaluate symptoms, identify risk factors, and formulate customized plans.
  3. Provide immediate crisis intervention for individuals experiencing distress, assessing safety, facilitating de-escalation, and coordinating referrals as necessary.
  4. Educate clients and their families about rights violations, mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources available for their well-being.
  5. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients, including content creation.
  6. Maintain accurate records of client assessments, progress notes, and interventions in compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  7. Stay informed about current developments in the field through ongoing training and professional development activities.
  8. Engage in outreach efforts to raise awareness about abuse, trauma, mental health, reduce stigma, and advocate for holistic wellness.
  9. Interact professionally with clients while actively listening to their concerns.
  10. Manage queries and provide support to users in situations of distress.
