Role: Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) policies and procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster or DR exercise.
  • Review and update existing DR plans to ensure they are current and aligned with business requirements.
  • Evaluate processes and procedures for inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Application, Infrastructure, and vendor teams to determine recoverability options and implement DR design, planning, and implementation.
  • Work with Application/business stakeholders to define Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) for business-critical applications.
  • Report on DR compliance, train teams, and document DR test results and deviations to senior management.
  • Facilitate meetings with individual contributors and leadership to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Recommend recovery strategies and options and assist with the implementation of recovery solutions.
  • Follow the DR validation/testing procedure and document DR evidence.

Qualification:

  • Experience as a IT Technical Lead.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project Plan, and others).
  • Exposure to ServiceNow and RSA eGRC tools.
  • Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS) and ITIL V3 and above.
  • Basic exposure to Operating Systems, Networking, Protocols, Databases, Java/.Net/Mainframe applications, and Hardware.
  • Understanding of high-level system architecture.
