Role: Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst

Years of Experience: 8 years+

Location: Bangalore, Pune, Chennai.

Job Description:

  • Strong experience in understanding, defining, planning, implementing policies and procedure of Disaster Recovery (DR) in the event of Disaster or DR exercise
  • Review all existing DR plans to ensure they are up to date, all process and procedure steps are validated with the correct technical resources
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures for inefficiencies and make improvement recommendations
  • Work with Application, Infra teams and vendors to determine recoverability options meeting business requirements, DR design, planning and implementation
  • Work with Application/business stake holders to define RPO and RTO for the business critical applications
  • Reporting DR compliance - Train teams, DR test results, deviations to DR readiness to senior management
  • Facilitate meetings, involving individual contributors, as well as Leadership without support and instruction from others
  • Recommend recovery strategies and options and assist with the implementation of recovery solutions
  • Follow the DR validation/testing procedure and document the DR evidences

Qualification:

  • Experience as a IT Technical Lead
  • Bachelor's of Degree in Information Technology
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and Presentation skills
  • Strong experience in Microsoft office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project plan and others)
  • Exposure on ServiceNow, RSA eGRC tools
  • Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS) and ITIL V3 and above
  • Basic exposure on Operating Systems, Networking, Protocols, Databases, Java/.Net/Mainframe applications and Hardware
