Stripe Implementation Engineer Job

We're seeking a seasoned Stripe Developer to lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of our payment platform. This hybrid role combines engineering expertise with administrative ownership.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Implementing end-to-end Stripe modules (Payments, Billing, Connect, Subscriptions)
    • Configuring workflows for invoicing, recurring billing, chargebacks, and refunds
    • Managing Stripe accounts, user roles, permissions, and integrations with other systems
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Designing and maintaining API integrations between Stripe and internal platforms (CRM, ERP, analytics)
    • Building and managing test data environments to simulate payment flows and edge cases
    • Automating transaction scenarios for validation and regression testing
    • Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerts to ensure reliability and transparency of payment flows
Required Skills and Qualifications

We require:

  • Proven experience as a Stripe Developer/Engineer, including leading at least one Stripe implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Stripe APIs, webhooks, and modules
  • Experience with test data creation, automation, and CI/CD testing frameworks
  • Solid understanding of payment process flows, reconciliation, and dispute management
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and business process issues end-to-end
