Visual Merchandising Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall visual merchandising strategy and staff-related challenges, creating strategic recommendations based on this understanding.

Essentially, you will act as the main point of contact for all VM related aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for complete visual merchandising for a territory by creation of window and in-store displays.
  • Develop visual merchandising plans across the network as per VM calendars.
  • Travel with employees/team members to learn new concepts and create budgets for the same.
  • Seasonal calendar for in-store display preparation along with datelines from planning to execution and budgeting.
  • Enhance relationships with vendors and negotiate with them to work within budgets.
  • Research findings to be filed, also budgets to be created if any.
  • Constantly inspire the team with new visual merchandising concepts.
  • Allocate resources (human resources) for territory-wise operations.
  • Responsible for in-store display planning, marketing promos designs, and floor layouts.
  • Develop planograms for each territory and send them to stores at the beginning of the season.
  • Coordinate with stores to ensure timely implementation as per datelines.
  • Train store teams in conducting research based on lifestyle concepts, trends, and regional attributes.
  • Responsible for developing floor plans, sketching designs, sourcing materials, maximizing space, and dressing mannequins.
  • Make regular visits to stores to maintain and upkeep the stores.
  • Ensure store staff is properly uniformed, well spoken, and aware of VM standards.
