Learning Experience Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Experience Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our instructional design team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining high-quality learning experiences on Canvas LMS.

About the Role:

  • This position is responsible for creating, formatting, and organizing content pages, HTML pages, quizzes, assignments, and documents as per design document guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with instructional design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain courses in Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring adherence to guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Build course assets, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Conduct QA and QC reviews to ensure learning materials meet quality and accessibility standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related issues during course setup and delivery, collaborating with relevant teams for solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related field.
  • 1 to 4 years of working knowledge on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working on the Canvas LMS and/or Content Management System (CMS) is a plus.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and H5P.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
