Job Title: Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will be a master of Indian accounting practices within a private limited manufacturing setup.

About the Role
  • Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
  • Expertise in GST: Serve as the company's subject matter expert on all GST-related matters, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), handle reconciliations, and manage any GST audits or departmental queries.
  • SAP Business One & SQL: Take ownership of the finance module in SAP B1, utilizing advanced SQL skills to develop custom financial reports, create complex queries, and work directly with the SAP backend to extract and analyze data.
  • Closing & Reporting: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, preparing and presenting accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory regulations, including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements under the Companies Act.
  • Audits & Controls: Act as the primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors, developing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, guide, and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, specifically within a private limited manufacturing company in India.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional certification (CA / CMA) highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable): Expert-level proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1), strong proficiency in SQL, and hands-on knowledge of Indian GST laws.
  • Functional Skills (Non-Negotiable): Comprehensive knowledge of Ind AS, corporate law, and direct/indirect taxation, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong leadership qualities.
