Business Development Leader

At Rebel Foods, we are disrupting the traditional restaurant industry with innovative technology.
We have created a platform that enables us to build 'The World's Largest Internet Restaurant Company.'
We operate in India, UAE & UK with over 50 brands and 4500+ internet restaurants built on The Rebel Operating System.
We are looking for a Business Development Leader to join our UAE business, reporting to the business head of UAE and working closely with the corporate finance team in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Create and manage annual budgets, forecast future financial performance, and monitor variances against budget.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, assess business performance, and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks, including market fluctuations, credit risk, and operational risks.
- Lead and manage the finance team, including accounting, treasury, and financial planning staff, setting goals, providing coaching, and developing talent.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives to senior management, corporate teams, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Strong Financial Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and financial analysis techniques.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align financial plans with overall business goals.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and motivating a finance team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify key insights.
