Job Opportunity:

A highly skilled Chemical Process Specialist with 2 to 5 years of experience is sought for a pharmaceutical manufacturing organization.

The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of chemical production batches, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate and consistent product quality.

The successful candidate will safely manage pyrophoric reagents, Raney nickel, and operate pressure reactors (autoclave) in line with company policies. They will also perform the filtration of low-melting solids, ensure optimal filtration techniques are applied, and report any deviations from specifications.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of production activities, generating reports and summaries as required, adhering to safety protocols, and identifying and reporting any safety hazards or concerns promptly.

The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work effectively as part of a team. They should possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a creative mindset to drive innovation and overcome scientific challenges.

Physical demands include monitoring production processes, observing deviations in chemical reactions or equipment performance, standing or moving across the production floor for prolonged durations, handling machinery, and monitoring production activities.

  1. Assist in the preparation and execution of chemical production batches, following SOPs to ensure accurate and consistent product quality.

  3. Perform the filtration of low-melting solids, ensuring optimal filtration techniques are applied.
  4. Report any deviations from specifications and work with the senior chemist to troubleshoot and rectify issues.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
  1. Candidates with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in chemistry from a reputable institution may apply.
  2. Individuals with up to 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical production sector.
  3. Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work effectively as part of a team.
