Job Title: Investment Analyst

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Investment Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and evaluating DeepTech startups, identifying potential investment opportunities, and supporting founders in the critical growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing & Research: Identify DeepTech startups and founders, build relationships with technology incubators and accelerators, conduct market landscaping and sector mapping, and track trends in science-based innovation.
  • Due Diligence: Evaluate technology readiness, business models, IP, and founder-market fit, prepare investment memos, and present findings to the investment committee.
  • Portfolio Support: Work with founders to track milestones, financials, and fundraising readiness, assist in building post-investment value creation plans, and coordinate with incubators and academic networks for technical support.
  • Fund Operations: Support investment documentation and compliance, maintain internal databases, and assist in preparing presentations for LPs and ecosystem engagements.

Requirements:

  • A degree in science, engineering, finance, economics, or business; candidates with dual exposure (e.g., engineering + MBA/finance) are strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of finance, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
  • Experience or interest in DeepTech sectors, including understanding TRL stages and commercial viability of research.
  • Prior exposure to VC, private equity, investment banking, or startup ecosystems (preferable but not mandatory)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, resourceful mindset and comfort working in unstructured, early-stage environments
