About the Role

The Associate Software Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the development of innovative product solutions in the automotive domain. This role involves working closely with the team to estimate, develop, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.

This position requires strong foundations in computer science and the ability to apply core fundamentals to solve complex problems. Experience with Java-based solutions and AWS Cloud platform is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in an agile development team to develop and deliver software solutions.
  • Collaborate with BA/SQA to simplify testing procedures and ensure thorough testing throughout development and before release.
  • Review business requirements and decipher design details for solutions with Technical Architects and Product Owner.
  • Deliver solutions that meet expectations by working closely with Technical Architects.
  • Assist and collaborate closely with team members to promote a culture of proactive problem-solving and innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with programming languages, web development technologies, and use of databases.
  • Strong foundations in computer science and ability to apply core fundamentals to solve critical and complex problems.
  • High aptitude for problem-solving using computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience with relational database concepts, Graphical User Interface, and service-oriented architecture.
  • Good interpersonal skills - must be able to work effectively as part of a project/program team and foster team cooperation.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
