Automotive Powertrain Forecasts Expert

About the Position:
- The Powertrain Forecasts team is looking for a skilled analyst.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Develop and maintain industry relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and associations.
- Coordinate and analyze data to generate market forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of powertrain data by applying comprehensive quality control procedures.
- Use data analysis to make high-quality forecasts for clients and provide valuable insights to peers.
- Evaluate global powertrain policy, regulation and decarbonization research to guide forecasts from regional markets to OEMs.
- Provide client support through email, telephone and meetings.
- Contribute to sales business development and marketing efforts.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in powertrain engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in automotive, preferably in a technical role.
- Previous experience working in powertrain at OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Proficiency in MS applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of database mechanics is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong English communication skills are required for global collaboration.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and established connections are necessary.
- Commitment and integrity are essential, with a focus on honesty, accountability and respect for colleagues.
