Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our SME business in the region.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • You will work closely with our team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • You will manage relationships with key clients and stakeholders to build trust and drive business growth.
  • You will be responsible for preparing yearly business development plans aligned with our bank strategy for SME clients.
  • You will achieve target set in yearly budget for new and existing clients and manage related budget and financials.
  • You will articulate region-specific strategy for product growth and liaise with Product Development Team.
  • You will manage team, including career development, coaching, and mentoring of critical talent.
  • You will formulate recruitment and resourcing strategies.
  • You will review and coordinate quality principles and processes.
  • You will sponsor quality standards in management initiatives.
  • You will ensure fraud control policies are in place and minimal NPAs.
People Management and Self-Management Responsibilities:
  • You will develop continuous talent pipeline for key roles and provide mentoring.
  • You will monitor achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports.
  • You will develop talent within the department through guidance, feedback, coaching, and opportunities.
Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities:
  • You will govern risk-related policies and processes to meet regulatory requirements.
  • You will review internal control systems and take corrective action based on audit findings.
