We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Merchandise Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of our buying and merchandising strategy, ensuring alignment at all times.

  • Manage merchandise operations, coordinate with vendors, and optimize product quality and cost-effectiveness for designated brands.
  • Work closely with the merchandising teams to ensure timely deliveries meet assigned purchase orders.
  • Research customer needs and emerging trends to identify future product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and management to develop pricing strategies and negotiate optimal costs with suppliers.
  • Source high-quality products that meet customer requirements, while maximizing current sourcing channels and identifying new opportunities.
  • Support negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and ensure best costs and margins are achieved.
  • Work closely with designers on style development, research trips, fabric advice, and best-seller identification.
  • Coordinate with merchandising teams to manage stock, style options, quantities, promotions, and markdowns.
  • Monitor competitors' activities through market research, tracking trends, forecasting, and color/fabric analysis.
  • Develop promotional plans, review season and weekly plans, and adjust as necessary.
  • Identify and develop new vendors, negotiate range merchandise, and obtain samples in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design to create visually appealing promotions aligned with theme and product launches.
  • Set standards for merchandise quality with QA, reconcile store plans, and fix departmental financial plans.
