About the IT Support Role

Shyld AI is a leading organization in developing physical AI agents to automate infection prevention and operational intelligence in hospitals and controlled environments.

We're seeking a skilled IT Engineer to support our distributed team and ensure secure, reliable IT operations across systems, networks, and devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Maintain and monitor system access, ensuring compliance with company policies and IT security best practices (HIPAA, SOC2 alignment).
  • Provide remote support for employees' hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions across tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Network & Security Setup:
  • Implement IT security protocols to protect sensitive data and perform regular audits of access controls, patches, and updates.
  • Support VPN, endpoint security, and multi-factor authentication setup.
  • Process Improvement & Collaboration:
  • Suggest and implement improvements in IT processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support remote deployments and field devices when needed.
  • Provide overlapping coverage with U.S. hours for cross-team collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adaptable, and possess a strong emphasis on teamwork.
