Lead AI Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to oversee the development and scaling of centralized AI infrastructure and acceleration solutions. As a key member of our Platform Product Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how people and businesses engage with and benefit from AI.

About the Role

  • Hands-on Architecture & Development: You will be responsible for designing and building production applications and leading a team of highly competent engineers.
  • Team Leadership: You will manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
  • Mentorship: You will mentor junior engineers on how to build high-quality software and take their skills to the next level.
  • Technical Expertise: You will continually raise engineering standards to maintain high-availability and low-latency for ML inference infrastructure that runs predictive ML models and Large Language Models.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • At least 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • Deep understanding of software engineering processes and ability to foster an environment that creates high-quality code
  • Experience in upleveling junior engineers via processes and setting a high bar for them to follow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills

  • Rapid growth experience in a company
  • Experience working with Golang, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
  • Background in working with AI/LLM models
