Job Title: HP Support Associate
Job Summary:
The HP Support Associate is a key role within the lastminute.com group, responsible for maximizing revenues for both key hotel partners and the company. This position requires a business-oriented professional with high integrity, who can maintain strict confidentiality, display initiative and innovation, and exercise sound judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate market trends and competitor activity, providing analysis and recommendations for potential actions and next steps.
- Manage promotional campaigns by uploading desired deals received from hotel chains or market managers.
- Work with market management teams to develop and implement strategies ensuring competitive pricing.
- Maintain constant communication with market managers to ensure consistency of communications, partner messaging, and implementation of market strategies.
- Develop and share best practices with other market associates and market management teams to optimize market competitiveness.
- Review the quality of rates, inventory, and content on sites against competitors.
- Support market management teams with the development and delivery of partner communications.
- Assist market management teams in prospecting new hotels and/or regional chains.
- Support the process of onboarding new partners upon acquisition of new properties by creating new properties and rooms.
- Lead ad-hoc projects to improve product competitiveness and support productive revenue generation efforts in the market.
Requirements:
- Experience: 0-1 year
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Business-oriented professional with high integrity
- Results-focused and metrics-driven
- Excellent time management and follow-up skills
- Strong experience using MS Excel
- Analytical and logical approach to handle scenarios where data or instructions are incomplete
- Sincere relationship builder
- Excellent diplomatic skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Presents ideas and directives clearly and persuasively
- Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through various communication channels
- Able to work independently as well as be a team player
- Proficiency in writing emails by following email etiquette
