Mizuho Global Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced cybersecurity professional to join our dynamic security team. We are looking for an individual who possesses a strong understanding of advanced threat detection, incident response, and endpoint security capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Security (EDR) and a solid background in IT governance, risk management, and cybersecurity. They will be responsible for leading and managing EDR operations across clients' endpoints, investigating and analyzing sophisticated security alerts and events, and providing technical expertise to junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage EDR operations to ensure the protection of sensitive data and systems from cyber threats.
  • Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root cause, scope, and impact.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to junior analysts.
  • Develop and implement advanced detection and response strategies to enhance our overall security posture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Security (EDR).
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and information security standards.
  • Expertise in risk management, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
