Job Title: Placement Opportunities Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Placement Opportunities Specialist to establish and maintain partnerships with employers, thereby generating employment opportunities for students and alumni. The successful candidate will collaborate with our Career Planning services through in-class presentations, student organization outreach, and college support services.

The ideal candidate will assist students in identifying employment options matching their career interests, provide guidance on resume writing, interviewing techniques, and job referrals, schedule and follow up on student interviews with prospective employers, orient students and alumni to the online career management system (CSO), and participate in coordinating on-campus events such as the annual Career and Internship job fair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain employer partnerships to generate employment opportunities for students and alumni.
  • Collaborate with Career Planning services through in-class presentations, student organization outreach, and college support services.
  • Assist students in identifying employment options matching their career interests and provide guidance on resume writing, interviewing techniques, and job referrals.
  • Schedule and follow up on student interviews with prospective employers.
  • Orient students and alumni to the online career management system (CSO).
  • Participate in coordinating on-campus events such as the annual Career and Internship job fair.
