Job Overview

The Shift Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our data center facilities.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team to execute planned and unplanned activities within set timelines while maintaining effective communication.
  2. Track and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  3. Manage incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions in accordance with SLAs.
  4. Oversight of asset management, including warranty, maintenance, lifecycle, and capacity management.
  5. Collaborate with vendors to ensure 5 PPM tracking and completion, guaranteeing 100% equipment availability.
  6. Vendor relationship management, encompassing response times and resolution times on complaints, ensuring redundant equipment uptime.
  7. Maintaining accurate records for all stock items as per Business Continuity Plan (BCP) requirements.
  8. Coordinate with technical teams for customer-related queries and submit reports promptly.
  9. Maintain compliance at 100%, utilizing periodic trackers.
  10. Implement physical security processes.
  11. Develop risk assessments and periodic validations, incorporating incident feedback and root cause analysis findings.
  12. Update inventory records regularly, reflecting capacity, accompaniments, and balance comparisons against monthly targets, including customer details on rack inventory.
  13. Submit reports in a timely manner, meeting agreed-upon deadlines.
  14. Achieve 100% audit and compliance success.

Key Competencies

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Proven work experience in the data center industry, preferably with progressive responsibilities.
  3. Demonstrated technical expertise, including hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  4. Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.

Requirements

  • Educational background: Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Working experience: Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in data centers and/or critical facilities.
