Financial Performance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Performance Specialist to support financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements.

About the Role

This is a remote role that requires availability during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and automating recurring revenue and expense reports. You will also prepare ad-hoc financial analysis for leadership and business partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Develop, maintain, and automate recurring revenue and expense reports.
    • Prepare detailed financial analysis for senior management and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Data Management & Accuracy
    • Extract data from enterprise resource planning (ERP), business intelligence (BI) tools, and databases for reporting purposes.
    • Reconcile data between systems and ensure accuracy of classifications and coding.
    • Maintain data integrity and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
  • Process & Timeliness
    • Monitor and meet recurring reporting deadlines.
    • Standardize reporting processes to improve efficiency.
    • Support month-end and quarter-end close with revenue and expense analysis.
Experience Levels
  • For 3+ Years' Experience (Mid-Level Role)
    • Strong foundation in financial reporting and analysis.
    • Ability to work independently on recurring reporting and ad-hoc requests.
    • Exposure to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or revenue accounting preferred.
  • For 5+ Years' Experience (Senior Role)
    • Advanced expertise in FP&A, operational finance, or revenue accounting.
    • Experience leading reporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
    • Strong SQL/database skills for data extraction and analysis.
    • Ability to partner with senior leaders to provide strategic financial insights.
