Cloud Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Specialist with 4+ years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing ETL pipelines for cloud-based data management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable ETL pipelines for batch data ingestion and egress using Azure Data Factory and Spark.
- Implement data transformation workflows using PySpark and Scala Spark for high-performance data processing and data analytics.
- Work extensively with Azure Cloud services including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database for data storage and processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve job failures by identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.
- Optimize data processing jobs for performance and cost efficiency, ensuring minimal latency and optimal resource utilization.
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong programming skills in Python and Scala, with expertise in cloud-based programming frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Spark (PySpark & Scala Spark), with proficiency in big data processing and analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation, with expertise in database design and optimization.
- Good knowledge of Azure Cloud and Azure Data Factory, with experience in deploying and managing cloud-based data solutions.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (preferred)
