Cloud Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Cloud Data Engineer. In this role, you will design and build scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using GCP services.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL.
  • Implement data models and schemas in BigQuery for efficient querying and storage.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, quality, and reliability issues.
  • Ensure best practices in data security, governance, and compliance on GCP.
  • Automate data workflows and contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for data solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud technologies.
  • Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Python, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data architecture.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
