Job Title: Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, configuring, and managing enterprise network equipment.

  • Develop and implement robust network architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, access points, and controllers to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of network vendor technologies and associated software to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Administer Cisco network equipment, including routers, switches, access points, and controllers.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment to resolve complex issues.
  • Assist teams with installing and configuring infrastructure equipment.
  • Work with carriers to configure/troubleshoot Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN, and other WAN circuits and equipment.
  • Mentor junior network engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Evaluate network compliance standards, including PCI and HIPAA.
  • Provide on-call support for production systems.
  • Oversee diagnosis and troubleshooting activities; resolve technical problems.
  • Perform system administration functions for continuous day-to-day system operations.
  • Use Ansible, SolarWinds, and other tools for configuration management.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation to ensure accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least eight (8) years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
  • Experience implementing Cisco ISE.
  • Experience using Cisco DNA Center.
  • Experience with SD-WAN preferred.
  • Experience with SDN preferred.
  • Knowledge of networking in a VMware and/or Docker and/or AWS environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Network as Code (NaC) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python and Ansible preferred.
Certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional required.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert preferred.
