Our 2-year fully residential MBA program with a specialization in Product Management is a first-of-its-kind in India, integrating high-demand courses in design, technology, and business. The program is certified by the International Software Product Management Association (ISPMA) and designed for those with a STEM background and 2-4 years of industry experience. It features a 3-track structure: General Management, Product Management, and Leadership.

Job Purpose

The Head of Admissions is responsible for outreach, selection, and enrollment of high-quality students for HSB. This role requires developing long-term strategies and implementation plans in line with enrollment priorities and HSB's mission.

Key Accountabilities

Strategy

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies and plans in accordance with enrollment priorities and HSB's mission.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, faculty, and other key personnel to develop and articulate admissions priorities and philosophy.

Admissions and Outreach

  • Organize and manage activities to attract a diverse class of high-quality applicants to HSB.
  • Represent HSB at external organizations and associations.
  • Conduct presentations to promote HSB and attract prospective students and their families.
  • Provide direction to the team regarding outreach, admission, and retention strategies.
  • Administer the evaluation and decision process of the admissions committee.
  • Review and read applications, interview prospective students, and counsel applicants and their families.
  • Oversee the planning of all admissions events.

People Management

  • Lead and manage the admissions team by providing vision, objectives, and expectations of work performance.

Financial Aid Activities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop a yearly plan for financial aid awards.
  • Serve as a member of the Financial Aid Committee to determine financial aid award packages for admitted students.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA with a focus on Marketing or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

  • 10-15 years of experience in Admissions, preferably in a higher education institution or equivalent.
