Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team at Surya Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in electrical/solar/electronics industries, with a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning:
- Develop Procurement Strategies: Create and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and budget constraints.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, supply chain risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Vendor Selection: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet the company's quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and foster partnerships.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Procurement Execution: Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including purchase orders, approvals, and supplier communications.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Cost Management: Monitor spending and ensure purchases stay within budget.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Supplier Performance: Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and adherence to terms.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Track procurement KPIs and generate reports for management.
- Team Supervision: Lead and mentor procurement staff, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Training and Development: Provide training for team members to improve procurement practices and skills.
- Digital Tools: Implement procurement software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Innovation in Procurement: Explore new methods, tools, and technologies to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Extensive experience in electrical/solar/electronics industries

The salary for this role is estimated to be around ₹6,00,000 - ₹8,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
