Solar Plant Operations Manager - Renewable Energy Division, Surya International Enterprise Private Limited.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Plant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our solar plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and energy output while adhering to local and national regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the solar plant to ensure optimal performance and energy output.
2. Monitor real-time plant performance using SCADA or other monitoring systems and ensure adherence to performance benchmarks (PR - Performance Ratio, CUF - Capacity Utilization Factor).
3. Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for all plant equipment, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and solar modules. Manage on-site teams for cleaning, servicing, and repairing modules and electrical systems, and handle breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and maximize plant availability.
4. Ensure compliance with all local and national regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. Prepare and submit periodic performance, maintenance, and financial reports to management or stakeholders, and coordinate with government agencies, utilities, and third-party auditors as required.
5. Lead and manage O&M staff, technicians, and contractors working on-site. Conduct training sessions to improve team expertise in handling plant operations and safety procedures, and enforce strict adherence to HSE guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at the plant.
6. Liaise with equipment manufacturers and service providers to procure spare parts and schedule repairs, and ensure that contractual obligations with RESCO clients are met, including SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements.
7. Analyze plant data and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve energy efficiency and performance, evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance operational reliability and reduce costs, and manage the O&M budget, focusing on cost-efficient operations without compromising on quality and performance.
8. Ensure timely communication with RESCO customers about plant performance, billing, and energy delivery, address client complaints or issues related to energy supply or plant operation, and develop and maintain emergency response protocols for situations like fire, grid failures, or equipment breakdowns, coordinating with utility companies during grid outages or power evacuation issues.
