Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team at Āroka. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Study: Conduct thorough research on the best-suited social media platforms for our brand objectives, staying updated on new features and updates to leverage opportunities.
  • Competitive Research: Monitor competitors and similar brands to understand current trends, content strategies, and industry best practices, keeping up with trending topics and hashtag strategies to enhance brand visibility.

Content Planning:

  • Assist in planning and strategizing content (formats, platforms, and post times) in bi-weekly content planning meetings, participating in brainstorming sessions to create content ideas aligned with brand goals and trends.
  • Collaborate with content writers to ensure timely delivery of written content for social media posts, providing clear deadlines and expectations for content submission.

Content Scheduling & Posting:

  • Ensure content is posted on time and according to the planned schedule, managing content calendar for multiple platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to user comments, messages, and mentions to foster a positive brand presence, engaging with followers to boost interaction and create a community around the brand.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and report on key social media metrics (views, shares, comments, likes) on a weekly basis, updating and maintaining the social media analysis sheets to track progress and insights.
  • Suggest optimizations based on analytics to improve engagement and performance.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with trends and best practices across major social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret social media performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Understanding of the brand's product and audience to create aligned content.
