Job Description

As a Sr Application Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our applications and infrastructure. This includes conducting regular security assessments, performing security design and architectural reviews, and collaborating with technical teams to provide expert advice on vulnerability remediation strategies.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting security assessments using automated and manual methods to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Assessing the risk of found vulnerabilities and documenting them with proof of concepts as necessary.
  • Performing security design and architectural reviews to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to provide expert advice on vulnerability remediation strategies and best practices.
  • Integrating security practices into the CI/CD pipeline to identify and address vulnerabilities early in the development cycle.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in application security and 2 years in DevSecOps.
  • Strong Information Security technical skills and knowledge to identify, research and understand security control gaps and program compliance issues.
  • Strong web application security experience with a thorough understanding of web application vulnerabilities and secure coding practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing threat modeling, security architecture review, and vulnerability assessment on applications and infrastructure.
