Job Title: Senior Developer Manager

The ideal candidate will have expertise in C/C++ and operating system internals, as well as experience with business and technical applications. A strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience mentoring others are also required.

This role involves enhancing local OutSystems applications through development of change requests, investigating and implementing fixes on issues raised. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert level assistance to the company using the OutSystems platform to create new applications and their support.

A key aspect of this position is leading the work of others, including prioritizing, delegating and reviewing assignments. Strong customer relationships and active communication are essential for success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget;
  • Mentoring junior developers and providing guidance on best practices;
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies;
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with software development projects;

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a leadership role;
  • Expert-level knowledge of C/C++, operating system internals, and OutSystems platform;
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of developers;
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
