Tax Compliance Manager\

As a key member of our tax compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all UK VAT returns are accurately prepared and submitted within the required timeframes.

Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Manage and support the VAT compliance team to ensure accurate preparation of UK VAT returns.\
  • Review and follow up on any training needs identified to maintain team skills and knowledge.\
  • Develop and motivate the team to achieve continuous improvement in processes and procedures.\
  • Deliver exceptional support to multiple UK agencies, building strong relationships and representing the VAT compliance team as a trusted service provider.\
  • Collaborate with local Finance teams to resolve queries related to VAT returns efficiently.\
  • Monitor post-return follow-up processes where applicable.\
  • Maintain a knowledge database for the team to facilitate easy access to information.\
  • Review calculations for monthly accruals and reconcile indirect tax accounts with VAT returns.\
  • Handle and respond to requests from senior managers and assist with tax audits by analyzing transactions and gathering data.\
  • Manage VAT registration administration as requested.\
  • Support senior managers with ad-hoc projects and analysis as directed.
