Senior Tax Compliance Specialist

As a key member of our team, the Senior Tax Compliance Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless tax filing processes across various countries.
This position requires an in-depth understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as exceptional communication and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in tax accounting or associated roles in a multinational corporation, with proficiency in written and verbal English, and sound knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and preparing tax filings for US Sales Tax and EMEA countries VAT.
- Preparing working files for direct and indirect tax returns.
- Analyzing income statements to adjust for tax workings.
- Maintaining a tax calendar to ensure timely completion of all filings and payments.
- Providing audit support related to tax transactions.
- Assisting the team with tax accounting issues and queries.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance tax accounting and reporting processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with local statutory requirements.
- Developing visualizations and dashboards for tax reporting and analytics.
Requirements include a semi-qualified CA / CWA / CMA / MBA / PG in Commerce, with excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), and experience in Vertex O series & Vertex returns tool, and SAP S4/ Oracle Financial Enterprise environment including SmartView.
