Project Estimator Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing costing for large, complex projects by interpreting architectural drawings and preparing detailed cost estimations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret architectural drawings to estimate costs accurately
  • Utilize Revit/AutoCAD software for planning and estimation purposes
  • Liaise with vendors to analyze costs and manage procurement inquiries effectively
  • Conduct site visits to understand challenges and validate costs
  • Monitor project progress and maintain updated pricing information
  • Document best practices and ensure compliance with relevant tax policies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project estimation (construction industry preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Revit, and AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or equivalent field; Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is an asset
  • Willingness to travel as required
