Job Description

This role entails providing precise, timely, and competitive cost assessments for integrated control systems with HVAC systems, DDC systems, and PLCs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work to comprehend the needs and objectives of clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough technical analyses and feasibility studies to determine suitable solutions and approaches for integrating control systems with HVAC systems, DDC systems, and PLCs.
  • Ensure engineering design integrity by validating that proposed technical solutions align with designs shared during the request-for-quote stage.
  • Utilize industry expertise, past project data, and estimation software tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems.
  • Collaborate with Design, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure estimation inputs align with final execution strategies and project timelines.

In addition, this position involves:

  • Providing support to Project and Operations teams in reviewing cost and design assumptions post-award.
  • Assisting in developing proposals, bids, and tender documents by providing accurate cost estimates and technical insights.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation including supplier quotations, BOQs, compliance sheets, and pricing breakdowns.
  • Engaging with clients, contractors, and vendors to address inquiries, clarify technical details, and negotiate terms related to cost estimates and project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in automation or HVAC-related estimation.
  • Strong knowledge of estimation methodologies and processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
