Job Description:

At Orbit Interactive, we're seeking a skilled Digital Analytics Strategist to play a pivotal role in analyzing digital data and driving data-driven decisions. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for tracking, measuring, and analyzing website and campaign performance, implementing tracking solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize Google Analytics and other relevant tools to monitor website traffic, user behavior, and engagement metrics.
  2. Implement and manage Google Analytics tracking codes, events, and custom dimensions to capture accurate data.
  3. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in user experience, conversion rates, and online campaigns.
  4. Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure proper tracking of online initiatives and campaigns.
  5. Generate regular reports to showcase key performance indicators, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics on the dashboard.
  6. Conduct in-depth analysis of customer journeys to optimize user flows and identify drop-off points.
  7. Provide insights and recommendations to improve website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
  8. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web analytics, SEO, and digital marketing.
  9. Assist in setting up goals, funnels, and e-commerce tracking to measure and report on ROI.
  10. Troubleshoot tracking issues, data discrepancies, and other technical challenges related to Google Analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3 to 5 years) as a Google Analytics Specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, including advanced features such as custom dimensions, segments, and event tracking.
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and its implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and online user behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey data findings and insights effectively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Relevant Google Analytics certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization is advantageous.
