Job Overview

The role of the Principal Legal Counsel is a pivotal one within our organization. As a key member of the Legal Department, you will collaborate with highly skilled legal professionals to provide expert legal and compliance solutions that support business objectives.

Key responsibilities include managing technology and self-assessment based Enterprise wide Compliance management program for the entire organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and adopt an integrated global whistleblower program comprising seven pillars of corporate compliance.
  • Negotiate and implement remediations in global investigations.
  • Contribute to Compliance & Integrity Plans and reviews, preparing action plans, resolving problems, identifying trends, and implementing changes.
  • Develop expertise in compliance and regulatory regimes applicable to our organization, including whistleblowing regulations, anti-bribery and corruption laws, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Review and improve whistleblower systems and employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Plan and conduct training sessions to enhance the whistleblower program.
  • Interpret new regulations by reviewing proposed and adopted state legislation and regulations.
  • Derive policy administration, training programs, and regular communications.
  • Handle complaints and investigations effectively.
  • Collaborate with various functions to support business expansion initiatives.
  • Provide advice on public policy, working closely with the Government relations team.
  • Support company positions by developing responses and defenses.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified lawyer with JD or equivalent experience as compliance counsel.
  • Additional qualifications such as CA/CFA are preferred.
