Quality Assurance Specialist

Overview:
A cutting-edge production facility for small satellites is being created in Ahmedabad, India.
The role of the QA/QC Specialist is crucial in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of space-grade components and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards (e.g., ECSS, ISRO-PAS).
- Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements are embedded.
- Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation.
- Support risk management and failure mode analysis.
- Perform inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products.
- Monitor and verify compliance with acceptance test procedures.
- Coordinate environmental testing and review results.
- Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
- Familiarity with standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, MIL-STD-883.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with satellite subsystems.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical quality control.
- Certification/Knowledge in Six Sigma or ISO 9001 is a plus.
