Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a talented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by performing various types of testing.

The ideal candidate will cover the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to design and implement effective testing strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that software meets requirements and is defect-free.
  • Analyze and report defects found during testing.
  • Work with development teams to resolve defects and improve software quality.
  • Maintain and improve existing testing processes and tools.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
