Dynamic Community Storytelling Director

This is a strategic role that requires someone with a deep understanding of community stewardship of the commons. The successful candidate will lead narrative building, drive organisation-wide storytelling, and ensure cohesive messaging.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop compelling narratives around community-led natural resource governance, focusing on the Promise of Commons initiative;
- Support communications strategy execution while maintaining organisational and thematic focus;
- Integrate insights from initiatives, research, and partnerships into powerful communication strategies and products;
- Build campaigns engaging diverse audiences including policymakers, civil society, donors, academia, and media;
- Ensure coherence and consistency of messaging across all teams and channels.
The role involves ecosystem engagement, thought leadership, events, digital oversight, internal communication, knowledge management, and vendor/partner relationships.
Applicants need 12-15 years' experience in communications, with 5 years in development. A postgraduate degree in Communications, Development Studies, Journalism, Public Policy, or related fields is required.
