Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with expertise in GCP Data Engineering, including BigQuery, SQL, Cloud Composer/Python, Cloud Functions, Dataproc + PySpark, Python injection, Dataflow + Pub/Sub. You should have a strong understanding of data architectures, experience with ETL processes, and proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our business. You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and developing best practices for pipeline operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • GCP Data Engineering Expertise: Strong experience with GCP Data Engineering, including BigQuery, SQL, Cloud Composer/Python, Cloud Functions, Dataproc + PySpark, Python injection, Dataflow + Pub/Sub.
  • Expert Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform: Expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform; other cloud platforms are a plus.
  • SQL Development: Expert knowledge in SQL development.
  • Data Integration and Preparation Tools: Expertise in building data integration and preparation tools using cloud technologies (like Snaplogic, Google Dataflow, Cloud Dataprep, Python, etc.).
  • End-to-End Data Pipelines: Proficiency with Apache Beam/Google Dataflow/Apache Spark in creating end-to-end data pipelines.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, etc.
  • Database Expertise: Expertise in at least two of these technologies: Relational Databases, Analytical Databases, NoSQL databases.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Business Environment: Capability to work in a rapidly changing business environment.

Certifications:

  • Google Professional Data Engineer/Solution Architect: Certified in Google Professional Data Engineer/Solution Architect.
