Job Title: Cloud Data Solutions Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using cloud services like GCS, BigQuery, and Airflow to meet business needs.
  • Develop ETL/ELT processes in Python and integrate with data orchestration tools to ensure efficient data delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize database performance through schema design, partitioning, clustering, and query optimization.
  • Manage and maintain large-scale data environments ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Automate and monitor data pipelines for consistent and reliable data delivery.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in data engineering and cloud computing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cloud Platform (GCP): Expertise in core services including GCS, BigQuery, IAM, and Cloud Functions.
  • BigQuery (BQ): Strong understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and analytics.
  • Google Cloud Storage (GCS): Proficient in data storage and access patterns.
  • Apache Airflow: Experience in authoring and managing complex workflows.
  • Python: Skilled in scripting, automation, and working with APIs and data processing libraries.
