Airport Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of airport systems and applications. This role requires a strong knowledge of the air transport industry and previous experience in airport operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting airport systems and applications for efficient airport operations
  • Working with global distribution systems (GDS) for reservation, passenger check-in, baggage handling, and load management
  • Managing crew systems for scheduling, tracking, and utilization of crew resources
  • Monitoring and operating automated baggage handling systems
  • Creating incidents/problems as per incident management and problem management tools

Requirements:

  • Availability to work in 24x7 shifts
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office and other standard desktop applications
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to meet stringent service level agreements (SLAs)

This role requires a graduate degree in any stream with relevant travel experience and certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). A good knowledge of the airline industry and previous work experience in airport systems and applications are essential.
