Job Title: Business Operations Specialist- Underwriting

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing submission requests, updating data in client systems, ensuring turnaround time and document quality meet service level standards, and providing customer service to underwriters and operations staff across countries.



Responsibilities:
. Review submission requests thoroughly to validate submissions versus referrals, escalating those outside guidelines to the underwriting department for approval.
. Update data in the client system based on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provided guidelines.
. Ensure turnaround time and document quality meet agreed service level standards.
. Complete registration tasks, update workflow systems, and send confirmation to designated stakeholders.
. Provide customer service to underwriters, operations staff across countries, and other functions by researching and resolving issues through internal resources.

Requirements:
. Graduate or postgraduate with strong problem-solving skills.
. Preferred experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance.
. Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from various sources and systems.
. Strong judgment and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
. Proven ability to meet timeliness and accuracy standards in work completion.
. Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
. Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
