Internal Audit Manager Role Overview:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop an audit plan for the financial year, including a comprehensive checklist and process flowchart, to facilitate effective communication with process owners prior to commencement and active participation in process understanding meetings.
  2. Conduct detailed analyses and audit reviews in accordance with the Audit Plan, prepare draft reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
  3. Implement individual/group audits defined in the audit plan, ensuring exceptional service quality and client satisfaction.
  4. Collaborate effectively with teams and engage with various stakeholders.
  5. Develop strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Participate in opening and closing meetings with auditees to discuss audit scopes, findings, and action plans.
  7. Ensure audit reports are clear, concise, identify root causes with practical solutions, and provide value to management.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation and work papers related to audit activities.
  9. Regularly interact with the Reporting Manager to report the status of Internal Audit's ongoing activities, inform the Reporting Manager of significant risks or exposures related to internal controls, compliance, and/or governance requiring prompt attention.
  10. Perform other tasks as required, including pre-audits, concurrent audits, domestic and interstate site visits, and travel as needed.
