Job Description

The role involves preparing various financial statements, including monthly, quarterly and annual reports. It also includes consolidating financial data from domestic and international entities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing consolidated financials across domestic and international entities.
  • Managing intercompany transactions, including reconciliation, elimination entries and documentation.
  • Overseeing monthly and annual provisions, including accruals for expenses, liabilities and contingencies.
  • Monitoring and accounting for prepaid expenses, ensuring timely amortization and accurate reporting.
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate capitalization, tagging and classification of assets.
  • Preparing and reviewing depreciation workings, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and useful life policies.
  • Managing month-end and year-end closing activities for group accounting, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all entities.

Other key tasks involve coordinating with global finance teams for foreign currency adjustments and transfer pricing compliance, assisting in implementation of various tools and financial system upgrades, liaising with external auditors, banks and regulatory authorities and mentoring junior finance staff.


Qualifications & Experience

Essential qualifications include a CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree. A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation and intercompany accounting is required. Strong understanding of AS, IFRS and global accounting practices is essential.

A strong background in working with foreign subsidiaries or multinational organizations is desirable. Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, SAP or other ERP systems is necessary.
