Senior Financial Manager Role

This is a key position for a Senior Financial Manager at a major hospitality group. The Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of multiple hotels and restaurants, including budgeting, forecasting, financial auditing, and compliance.

The individual will also prepare comprehensive financial reports, conduct in-depth financial analysis, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. Other duties include managing accounts receivable, liaising with external auditors, and maintaining accurate financial statements.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our corporate finance team. The role will involve end-to-end financial management for our portfolio of hotels and restaurants, with a focus on consolidation, compliance, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate monthly and annual accounts across all hotels and F&B outlets.
  • Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for senior management.
  • Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits specific to the hospitality industry.
  • Ensure compliance with IND-AS, GST, Income Tax, and hospitality sector-specific regulations.
  • Monitor cash flows, working capital, and treasury management at group level.
  • Support annual budgeting and reforecasting for each hotel unit.
  • Standardize accounting processes and internal controls across properties.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide actionable insights on cost management, revenue streams, and profitability improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Senior Financial Manager with 3–7 years post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in hospitality / multi-unit business is highly desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel accounting, tax compliance, and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, hotel PMS (Opera, IDS, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
