Performance Expert

The role of Performance Expert entails the analysis and optimization of system performance. Key responsibilities include testing custom services using load generating tools, experience working in CI/CD environments, and knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures.

  • Demonstrate ability to test custom services using load generating tools such as Load Runner, JMeter, and SOAP UI across multiple protocols.
  • Experience working in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments and cloud-based infrastructures and applications using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gatling, GitHub, and Maven.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Microservices, AWS Cloud, and Oracle OCI.
  • Expertise in writing and executing performance tests.
  • Analyzing Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and volumetric Analysis.
  • Proficient in programming languages C, Java, VB Macros, Basic SQL, and shell scripts for automating processes.
  • A thorough understanding of Java/JVM architecture, JVM, GC, Class loading, Thread dump, and database analysis.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and profiling application stacks using Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as HP Diagnostics, CA Wily, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics.
  • Accurate analysis and communication of performance test results to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with supporting tools like Fiddler, Firebug, HAR, and Lighthouse.
