Job Title: Audio Visual Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain AV equipment, displays, audio conferencing systems, digital signage, control systems, and presentation systems.
  • Perform installation of structured cabling, including pulling, terminating, and testing cables.
  • Meet SLAs and daily deliverables, updating tickets as required.
  • Work on Crestron control programs, collaborating with remote teams on system certification.
  • Manage inventory, tracking stock levels, returning products, and addressing DOA issues.
  • Ensure adherence to client safety guidelines and policies.
  • Troubleshoot issues during installations and events.
  • Setup, break down, and troubleshoot equipment during events.
  • Conduct pre-event checks and liaise with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. 0-2 years' experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to think independently and work effectively.
  • Strong understanding of wiring, termination, and AV equipment installation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of architecture, electrical, structural, and AV systems drawings.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, travel for events, and possess a valid driver's license.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Dexterity to operate computer, power tools, and office equipment.
  • Climb ladders, scaffolding, or use lifts.
  • Drive safely and perform office tasks.
  • Regularly lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Communicate effectively in an office environment.
